Customization

Customizing your order doesn’t have to be hard! I am here to simplify all of the choices for you. With 30+ years experience knitting & now crochet, I wan’t you to feel comfortable entrusting your vision with me. Many times, customers have an idea in their head that they aren’t quite sure how to express in words. Honestly, customizing an order in this field usually comes down to 3 simple choices.

  1. Eye Type

  2. Color Choice

  3. Yarn Type

I won’t overwhelm you with options here, rather this page is to help guide your imagination into a tangible project for me, and an heirloom piece for you and your loved ones to enjoy for years to come!

Ways To Customize Your Piece

Eye Type

Eye type simply means the type of eyes you would like your lovey, plushie, or “doll” to have. These choices include: Plastic safety eyes, yarn embroidered eyes, or a minimalistic no eyes at all.

Color choices

Color choice is super simple! Take a look at the item you are interested in customizing and let me know what colors you like! Don’t worry yourself over crazy color names that designers come up with, leave that to me!

Yarn Type

Yarns come in all sorts of textures and sizes, just like any craft supply. Not to fret! I have that covered. Each product I offer, has a yarn “type” specific to it already. All you have to do is click!

Eye Options

Safety Eyes: These eyes are a plastic choice that slips into the piece and has a back that locks it in place on the inside. I also add two extra measures of safety to ensure the safety eye stays put including Aida cloth and hot glue on the backing. This eye choice is NOT recommended for children under the age of 3, as it poses a choking hazard.

Embroidered Eyes: Simply put, these are yarn eyes. I hand sew this choice into the piece. Each set will come out unique to the project and is a great choice for children under the age of 3.

Minimalistic: This choice is reminiscent of vintage toys! There are no eyes at all, giving the piece a smooth and worry free finish.
